I appreciated the room, exceptional meals etc.
The hotel property was fabulous with stunning and great location near the centre of the village, nearby attractions and the beaches and night life. I had a double room included with a fantastic view and romantic balcony. Excellent services were available. Got wake up service free of charge, not bad too...

The feeling that this is an independent French hotel with all the charm associated with coming to France for a really good holiday.
Nothing - we loved it all

Exceptional food and excellent service. Magnificent view of the bay. Well-furnished and spacious room with a fine bathroom that includes a hair dryer, shower caps, and bath sheets. the beds are very comfy. the location is a short walk to the town center and Royan. For tea or coffee, the Darwin nearby is a nice option.

The setting of the hotel is wonderful, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Breakfast was very good.
The pool was cold and no fun to swim in as it was all 2metres deep and we felt dangerous not to have a shallow area.We felt there should have been a man to help us with our baggage though the young lady was very good. It would have been nice if there had been a more forthcoming welcome from the proprietor. We would also have liked tea making equipment and a fridge in our room - although we were not in the most expensive room it is something that we expect to find in a hotel of this standard.

The hotel is fine. We stayed in the adjacent building which was fine as it has a big garden for the children to play in. The hotel itsel is a little formal for you children so we made use of the tables and charis in the garden to picnic instead of eating in the dining room. You need to walk about 1km to the nice beach / drive.
Swimming pool was inside - little formal for young families

We stayed one night at the end of September and it was obviously end of season (some things were not available on the menu and the hotel was quite empty). The staff were outstandingly pleasant and willing to help. Our bedroom looked out over the Atlantic and we slept with the balcony window open and sept and woke to the sounds of the waves. We shall return for sure.

This hotel offers great value for money with fair prices and attention to detail. The hotel's location, just 200 yards away from a music festival on the beach, is ideal for those who want to be close to the action. With easy access to local restaurants or a short drive to the town center, guests can enjoy a variety of dining options. The hotel's position on the sea front provides a fantastic view and a refreshing sea breeze.
Nothing to improve, everything was great.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer and I can't recommend it enough. the location of the hotel is amazing. Situated right on the sea front, it not only offers a stunning view of the bay, but also allows for a refreshing sea breeze. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. There was nothing that I could fault or think could be improved upon.
